Founder of Tehla Bagh surrounded by nature near Sariska National Park

TEHLA BAGH

Nestled between the Aravalli mountains and just 20 minutes from Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary, our property is a place where the wild and the refined come together. From the moment you arrive, the calm of the valleys and the open garden views invite you to slow down and breathe a little easier.

The spaces are built to blur the line between indoors and outdoors, verandahs to soak in the scenery, rooms with warm touches and modern comforts (yes, even your own TV when you want it), and an inviting pool that mirrors the sky above.

Food here is an experience in itself, with a multicuisine menu crafted to suit every mood; whether you want something familiar or something new to try under the open skies.

Every detail, from the way light filters into your room to the quiet corners designed for pause, is created to feel both raw and beautifully thoughtful. It’s not just a stay, it’s your own little escape to unwind, reconnect, and let nature do what it does best: make you feel at home.

A Note From The Founder

SANDEEP KHANDELWAL

architect | wildlife enthusiast | explorer

At the heart of this retreat is a seasoned architect whose love for design is matched only by his deep passion for the wild. With years of experience in creating spaces that respect and reflect their natural surroundings, he's someone who sees architecture as more than just building, it’s storytelling.

As a devoted wildlife enthusiast, he has spent years exploring India's most remote forests and national parks, moments in the wild that have shaped his perspective, both personally and professionally. He has been a witness to some of nature's most extraordinary spectacles, including the legendary tigress Machli’ s dramatic alligator hunt; a moment etched into wildlife history.

His vision for the retreat was simple yet profound: to create a place where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the richness of the land, not just through luxury, but through meaning.
